Lila’s is one of the four private cabins and includes it’s own bathroom, with tub and a separate living room and bedroom. The living room has a stone fireplace and a large window overlooking the front lawn and ocean. While the cabin is not directly on the beach like the rustic beach cabins, the addition of the front deck, bathroom and fireplace should compensate for that. Lila’s also features a little fridge, coffee maker and your firewood is included. The bedroom has a nice ocean view for watching the colourful sunrises over the Gulf Islands. The cabin is named after Lila Palmer, a hostess at the lodge in the ‘40’s and ‘50’s who used to summer in the cottage before it was upgraded and converted to a guest cabin in the ‘80’s. The fireplace is the original one that her husband and son built.
